Crystal R. Peck began her legal career in 2004, developing her practical legal skills first as a Law Clerk with Bailey Johnson, and then as an Attorney.
Ms. Peck has extensive experience in personal injury, property damage, and land use cases, particularly in the area of municipal liability and employment law, including use-of-force claims, Article 78 proceedings, and zoning and land use matters. Ms. Peck serves as Special District Counsel to local municipalities and counsel for local Planning Boards and Zoning Boards of Appeals.
Throughout her career, Ms. Peck has handled several matters under the New York State Civil Service Law, including public employee disciplinary proceedings. She is well-seasoned in preparing cases for trial in federal and state courts. Ms. Peck keeps current on the varying rules and specific requirements of the different courts and judges.
Ms. Peck also provides services to individuals in the areas of Estate Planning and Administration. She guides her clients through the process of preparing Powers of Attorney and Wills, and is experienced in preparing Medicaid trusts. Ms. Peck also provides advice and guidance necessary to assist her clients with probating the estates of their loved ones and represents the intrests of executors and distributees in Surrogate’s Court.
